Simple Syrup collaborates with many artists and art institutions throughout the New England and national area, including:

Whitney Cornforth
Whitney attended the Massachusetts Institute of Technology where he earned a B.S. and M.S. in Naval Architecture and Marine Engineering in 2001. It was at M.I.T. pursuing these engineering degrees that Whitney discovered glassblowing, and the course of his life was dramatically changed.

After graduating, Whitney decided to abandon Naval Architecture to follow his new found passion for glass. Since that time, he has worked full time as a glassblower working with and for many glass artists in the Boston area. Additionally Whitney has attended the Pilchuck Glass School and he was a teaching assistant for Kait Rhoads at the Pittsburgh Glass Center. All the while, Whitney has taken countless glass courses from visiting artists and instructors at M.I.T., where he has continually taught glassblowing at all levels.

January Glass
Caitlin D. Johnston's hope is to achieve a pure and subtle strength in my work, maintaining integrity and wholeness of form. And for the viewer to acknowledge the forms as being familiar but not immediately identifiable. She uses the variation in the translucency of cast glass to enhance the depth and strength of form. The forms are often reminiscent of objects, shapes, and patterns that are found in nature.

Amy Rueffert
Amy Rueffert earned her BFA from Massachusetts College of Art in 1998 and pursued independent study at Ohio State University. She received scholarships for additional study at the Pilchuck Glass School and the Haystack Mountain School of Crafts. Amy has also been awarded the artist-in-residence positions at Cleveland Institute of Art and San Francisco's Public Glass. Amy participated in numerous group exhibitions in galleries across the country. She has also had solo exhibitions at Vetri International Glass and the Bubba-Mavis Gallery. Her work is included in the collection of the Corning Museum of Glass. She has taught at the Corning Museum of Glass and Public Glass, as well as being a teaching assistant at the Haystack Mountain School of Crafts and Pilchuck Glass School.
